Hi there! My name is Nala, and I'm a special 45lb girl looking for a loving forever home. I came into the shelter without my eyes, as they were removed due to glaucoma (when I was with my previous owner who became incarcerated). Being a blind dog, I need a patient adopter who will help me navigate and adjust to my new environment. It can be a bit challenging when you can't see, but with some time and patience, I'll thrive. I've spent some time in a foster home where I thrived! I'm learning to turn away from hissing cats, but I'd do best as the only pet in the home. I'm cuddly and love toys—especially ones that make noise! I'm a total foodie and enjoy long naps snuggled up with my favorite human. I take my time getting to know new people; I'm a wine and dine kinda gal. If you're looking for a sweet, snuggly companion, I'm your girl.
