I am a neutered male & I look like a American Staffordshire Terrier mix

The shelter staff think I am 2 years and 9 months old.

Hi, I’m Harvey! I came into the shelter as a stray & sadly realized no one was coming to claim me. I was then selected to attend a program at FAMU's vet tech school & was brought to some nice people at the FAMU Farm, for extra TLC, attention & heartworm treatment. Now I’m back at the shelter, playing, running, walking & sniffing all the smells along the way. I’m an independent and confident guy but I get all silly when it comes to playing ball. I love to chase balls and playtime with tough toys. I love a good sunspot outside and rolling on my back for scratches. I’m learning the ropes of walking but am eager to get out there with a harness and see all the sights. I know a few commands but I am a champion at sitting pretty for treats and then catching them in the air! I play with other dogs in playgroups here too!
