I am a spayed female & I look like a American Staffordshire Terrier mix
The shelter staff think I am 2 years and 4 months old.
I'm Helena! I'm 44lbs. I came to the shelter after I was hanging around in neighborhood for a few days. Once I arrived at the shelter it was discovered I had a microchip and my name was Helena. Unfortunately, no one was ever able to reach my owner who had me chipped when I was a puppy. While I miss my owner, I am eager to leave here and finding a new one is the only way that will happen so I am trying to show off my best self! I walk well on leash, I am responsive to treat-training and I am very sweet and gentle when offered a treat (even though I want to scarf them down)! I am on the calmer side for my age and breed type but I love to go on walks and am up for any activities that will include me! I am personable, I give good kisses (not to rough and not to wet) and I'm good around other dogs (they often put puppies with me at the shelter as I am such a well behaved girl). If you are looking for a wonderful companion that will bat her beautiful eyes at you every time you say her name, I'm your perfect match!
