City Commission to hold Budget Workshop

The Tallahassee City Commission will hold a workshop on Wednesday, April 11, at 1 p.m. in the City Commission Chambers, second floor, City Hall, 300 South Adams Street.

The workshop will focus on development of the operating budget for Fiscal Year 2019 (FY19), which includes strategic initiatives for public safety, economic development, infrastructure investment and planning, and quality of life. The City's budget plan aims to preserve the core services while ensuring the City's future ability to support and achieve Commission and community priorities. It is developed based on citizen input, historical performance, quarterly analysis of progress and a planning horizon of five years.
