Having pride in one’s community comes from a deep-rooted place within each of us. It is born from an undying spirit of goodwill towards others and manifests itself in the desire to connect by participating in activities that lift up the greater community. These activities can include serving the public every day in your civil service job to volunteering as coach for the local T-ball Team to donating to an honorable charity and even rallying around a community member who needs support.
As City employees, we innately have a deep sense of community pride. We are all Tallahassee Proud. Our community pride can be seen when we’re working on the clock, serving others, and when we’re off the clock, doing much of the very same thing. As public servants, we double as community leaders, volunteers and families. We do all these things, because we care about our community and are proud to call it home.
If you regularly showcase your community pride, let us know by filling out this short form. Your words (and your clothes) could help inspire others to be Tallahassee Proud.
