BECOME A PARKING AMBASSADOR

Parking Ambassadors will provide directions and assist citizens/tourists with useful information on parking activities and events going on in the local area. Also, they will educate people on how to use the parking meters, apps and kiosks. Ambassadors will ensure proper parking by issuing citations for vehicles that violate rules and regulations.

Starting pay $17.50 an hour!

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Education and Training:

• High school diploma or equivalent recognized certificate
• One year of experience in a customer service role
• Knowledge of Florida State Statutes (perferably)
• Knowledge of City of Tallahassee Ordinances (perferably)
• Valid State-issued Driver’s License
• Commit to four weeks of training

Flexibility:

• Available to work late nights and weekend hours, when needed
• Able to work in conditions with exposure to all weather conditions
• Able to lift/pull/push/transport equipment weighing up to 50 pounds
• Must be able to walk and stand for extended periods
