In 1995, the City of Tallahassee and Leon County joined in the creation of the Uniform Street Naming and Property Numbering System. This Numbering System is a cooperative approach of both governmental agencies that provides for the improved delivery of emergency services, thus enhancing the overall quality of life, health, safety and welfare of citizens.
