Winthrop Park Courts are Open!
Attention Tennis & Pickleball Players! I have exciting news to share with our players that will commence Thursday, March 17. The courts at Winthrop Park are ready for play! Reserved times will be in the evening Monday - Thursday, 5:00pm - 7:30pm and Saturday and Sunday, 8:00am - 12:00pm. Reservations will be made in the same process that is used for Tom Brown.
There is a new net system for all six courts that will quickly transition from tennis to pickleball and back to tennis. It is recommended to carry a tape measure to assure the players that the net is at the proper height. We will post a "how to adjust these nets" on our website and social media. There will be a liaison Monday - Thursday in the morning to assist with walk-on and transition of players. In addition, the liaison will assist with net adjustments.
Enjoy your new resurfaced courts and the new fence replacement. New windscreens have been ordered and will be installed when they arrive. Feel free to contact me if there are any comments or suggestions as we move forward with new courts!
