The Tallahassee Police Department offers three types of non-sworn employment: full time, Other Personnel Services (OPS) and temporary.

Temporary Employment

All part-time, temporary 25-hour or less positions at the Tallahassee Police Department are without benefits and leave time. The positions are mainly clerical-type, maintenance, and school crossing guards. No applications for temporary positions are accepted at the Tallahassee Police Department. Other Personnel Services (OPS)
