Filing a Traffic Crash Report

Per Florida Statute 316.065, the driver of a vehicle involved in any traffic crash that:

  • Results in injury to or death of any persons.
  • Involves an intoxicated driver.
  • Involves a "hit and run" driver.

shall immediately, by the quickest means of communication, give notice of the crash to a local law enforcement department.

If the accident does not meet the above listed criteria, you can report the crash online or you may download the report and complete for insurance purposes. If you need the assistance of a police officer, please call 850-606-5800 if it is not an emergency and 911 if it is an emergency.

Reporting a Parking or Traffic Complaint

(Abandoned Vehicle, Parking Enforcement, Traffic Enforcement)

Please use the City's DigiTally application and follow the instructions for submitting a report. 

Are you a Victim of a Fraud Related Offense?

  • If you are a Victim of Internal Revenue Service (IRS) Tax Fraud - Please use the Internal Revenue Service's Form 14039 and follow the instructions for submitting the affidavit to the Internal Revenue Service.
  • If you are a Victim of Unemployment Fraud - Please report the incident to the Florida Department of Economic Opportunity and follow the instructions.
  • If you are a Victim of fraud relating to disaster relief funds or grants - Please report this incident to the United States Department of Justice using their complaint form.
  • If you are a Victim of any type of fraud not described above, to include Identity Theft, please use the Tallahassee Police Department's Internet based reporting application below to report the incident.

To quickly report an incident online you may use the Quick Connect feature by calling (833) 286-8305. This service allows callers navigate to the online reporting application for reporting an incident.

You will be asked to enter your cell phone number and the system will send a text message to that number containing a link to the online reporting system. From there you can proceed to file a report from a mobile phone using the mobile optimized web page forms.
