Sewer Connection Loan Program

Homeowners who have access to the City's sewer service and would like to connect to the system can finance the entire cost for up to 10 years through the City's low interest sewer loan program. Charges are added to your utility bill and payments are made monthly through the normal utility billing process. The loan is secured by a lien on the property in the amount of the loan outstanding. Loans can include the sewer tap fee, system charge, sewer line construction, electrical enhancements and septic tank abandonment. The City will issue checks directly to the contractor(s).

NOTE: Under state law, if a septic tank malfunctions within the City limits and sewer service is available, the homeowner must connect to the central sewer system.
