I am a spayed female & I look like a Tennesee Treeing Brindle Hound mix
The shelter staff think I am 5 years old.
I'm Pringles! I'm about 50lbs because I'm so excited about finding my new family, I may lick your face and jump into your arms the minute we meet. I am also excited about eating, as I love food, I'm not picky and will do just about anything to earn some treats. I settle down easily after exercise and always enjoy opportunities in the play yard and out on walks in the park with volunteers. I was selected to spend some time at the FAMU Farm Program. This is a partnership with the Veterinary Technology Program at Florida Agricultural & Mechanical University (FAMU). Dogs like me are selected to spend time at their new state-of-the-art Veterinary Technology Teaching Center located at a private farm. While residing at the Center, we are cared for by the veterinary technology students and faculty veterinarians, and we receive any medical and surgical treatment that is needed (along with lots of TLC!). While I was there I learned lots of new things and was treated for heartworm disease. I am still recovering a bit from the treatment but am eager to find a new home where I can complete my rest and relaxation! There is so much to enjoy about life and I'm an easy reminder of all the happiness that still exists in the world. If you give me a chance, I promise to share my enthusiasm as it is infectious!
